Birding to Turtle Lake

Turtle lake is close to Great Central. It is in the area that has the largest number of Western Painted Turtles on Vancouver Island. We’ll walk down an old logging road about 1 km to a recent forest fire with a young plantation  and look over the lake from a spot with a view of it.
We’ll meet at Victoria Quay, carpool and drive out there.
